World-class Assistive Technology Making a World of Difference


The QIAT Consortium, hosted by the Department of Special Education and Rehabilitation Counseling at the University of Kentucky, has developed a set of widely-applicable Quality Indicators for Assistive Technology (QIAT) Services in School Settings. When used as a tool, the QIAT can help school districts develop and provide quality assistive technology services aligned to federal, state and local mandates. It can also help assistive technology service providers improve their services and develop core competencies, or help consumers seek adequate assistive technology services for their needs.
