Useful tips to help you find the news stories you're looking for:
- Use AND (capitalized), or the | character, when you want two or more terms to be present in the search results, e.g. word1 AND word2, word1|word2
- Use OR (capitalized), or the + character, when you want stories that contain one or the other of two or more terms, e.g. word1 OR word2, word1+word2
- For exact matches, wrap words or phrases with quotation marks and find stories that contain the exact expression you want, e.g. "word1 word2"
- Use NOT (capitalized) to exclude stories that contains a term you don't want displayed, e.g. word1 NOT word2
- Netscape users: Be sure to replace all spaces in your search expressions with %20, e.g. word1%20AND%20word2
